I came upon this page tonight and thought that others here might be interested to hear of this, if they haven't already:

A VGA remake of Quest for Glory 2 (created by fans but, if I'm not much mistaken, officially licensed) was recently released by AGD Interactive (who used to be Tierra, if I recall correctly) - some may recall their King's Quest 1 and 2 remakes (the latter of which I thought was particularly good).

The Quest for Glory 2 remake seems, as far as I've played it thus far (I started in on it yesterday), to be very true to the original, with a few extras thrown in (such as some very nice little Wizard minigames against Keapon and Aziza (I may be wrong, but I don't recall those being in the original), and a quite impressive, I think, battle system).

(My apologies if I read like an advert - I'm just a fan myself. )
